Hi, I’m Tony Gilfillan—thanks for stopping by!

I’ve always been passionate about building things, whether that’s software, hardware, or creative side projects. By day, I work in developer advocacy with Workday Build, helping developers and organizations create powerful solutions on the Workday platform. That means I spend a lot of time experimenting, breaking things, fixing them, and then turning those lessons into content others can learn from.

But building doesn’t stop at Workday for me. This blog is where I share everything I’m tinkering with outside the 9–5:

• Developer Advocacy & Workday Build
  Deep dives, tutorials, and insights into extending Workday with custom apps, integrations, and automation. My goal is to make the Build ecosystem more approachable and fun for developers of all levels.

• Coding & Tech Experiments
  From Slack apps and automation workflows to scripting and AI-powered tools, I’ll share the projects (and mistakes) that teach me something new.

• DIY & Creative Projects
  3D printing, smart home hacks with NFC tags, and indie game dev with engines like Godot—because problem-solving should be just as fun as it is practical.

• Life as a Creator
  I’m a millennial dad who loves nerd culture, family-friendly projects, and exploring how tech fits into everyday life. Expect a mix of playful experiments and lessons learned along the way.
